Owner and director of the Claudia Chapline Gallery in Stinson Beach. A graduate of Corcoran School of Art and George Washington University, I also earned a master’s degree in dance therapy from Washington University and founded IDEA, a modern dance company in Santa Monica. Co-founder with Judy Chicago and others of Womanspace, a nonprofit gallery in Los Angeles that evolved into the Woman’s Building, an arts and education center the L.A. Times called “a feminist mecca.”
